Creating Art With 5 Senses
Learning to be present in the art process
A one day workshop in the mountains of Virignia
How do artists create? Is it natural ability? Is it learned technique? Is it something hazy and nebulous called “talent”? Art-making, in part requires noticing, seeing, recording, hearing, touching and paying attention. In other words, artists use or learn to use all of their senses. A good deal of art “making” is done before any tool is put to paper.
Please join me at Serenity Ridge, a Buddhist retreat center located near Charlottesville. This peaceful oasis on 20 acres will provide the perfect backdrop for getting in touch with your creative seed. You can view pictures and gain more info on the retreat center here: www.ligmincha.org
$95.00 (must have at least 5 students to run)
